We partner with two primary groups of clients:
1) individuals or families seeking outpatient speech therapy;
2) public and private school districts in need of special education staffing
Our approach to each client is unique in both our clinical perspective and methodology.
For outpatient families, we provide speech and language supports directly from the comfort of their homes, offering them easy access to therapy without insurance barriers, waitlists, or drive time. Services are paid for by the families directly.
For district-based students, we provide educational services either at the school or through remote learning in accordance with their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), 504 plan, or service plan. Services are free to the student and funded by the district through various educational funding programs.

is ONLINE education really effective?
Families and administrators alike often have questions about online education and therapy, particularly following COVID-19 closures. Unfortunately, many people had an unsatisfactory experience due to unprepared educators. And while we acknowledge that these educators acted optimally given the constraints on their time and resources, we must strive to surpass this performance.
At our organization, we prioritize telepractice best practices and collaborate with highly skilled online educators to ensure that our clients’ outcomes are comparable to in-person services. In fact, if it’s not ethical, we don’t provide it. A significant portion of our clients have found online therapy to be not only convenient, but effective. While it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution, we collaborate with clients to identify the optimal educational environment, even if it’s not with us.
We utilize Zoom as our telepractice platform and observe strict adherence to HIPAA/FERPA regulations for all sessions. Furthermore, our email communications either consist of non-identifiable information or use password protection.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
At present, we do not accept insurance payments for outpatient services. Nevertheless, we’re here to support you in exploring available funding and benefits, which include:
Superbills - if you have an insurance policy with out-of-network benefits (typically a PPO), we offer monthly superbills to submit for reimbursement. This can range from 25-75% of your out-of-pocket expenses.
FSA accounts - we accept all forms of FSA cards for electronic payment.
Small Steps in Speech Grant (available in all 50 states) - ages 3-22 for future therapy for a max of $1,200.

AAC funding
AAC Funding Help - funding solutions, sources, report samples and templates, and AAC report coach.
AITA AT Resources Funding Guide - insurance, federal/state programs, special education, advocacy groups, and other organizations that have resources on AAC funding.
We recommend that families reach out to their insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network benefits. Payments for services rendered by Linguabilities should be made directly by clients.
At the start of therapy, we will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of expected cost of services. However, as therapy is a dynamic process, it’s difficult to predict the exact number of sessions required to address a particular issue. Nonetheless, we will provide our best estimate based on an initial three-month service plan. Clients are not bound to a predetermined quantity of sessions and may withdraw at any time. Any modifications to the initial treatment plan will inevitably impact the expected overall cost of services.
